Yes, it is Hopperish and I've always like Hopper...but it is almost more interesting in photography somehow. Whatever techniques he uses (whether film or more likely photoshop) he has to find and capture the starting image first and to know what he is going to do with it in advance. The way you compare artists and photographers, or artists and artists, etc, is *somewhat* similar to the way I compare the same movie script interpreted by different actors and directors.<br /><br />One example:<br /><br />“Les Liaisons Dangereuses/Dangerous Liaisons” directed by Stephen Frears, starring Glenn Close and John Malkovich and the earlier “Valmont” directed by Milos Forman starring Annette Bening and Colin firth.<br /><br />Another example:<br /><br />“Cape Fear” directed by J.
