Splish, Splash, I Was Taking A Bath...
Telus, one of our local telephone and internet companies, has an ad that is so popular, it has gone viral on YouTube. The only problem is, people love it so much they're going out and buying toy hippopotamuses, and not telephones. Everyone here in Canada is in love with this hippopotamus. Enjoy!

ReplyDeleteI recall that when I was a little girl I had a stuffed hippo. I could not pronouce the word correctly and called it a HISSapotomous.
I love it!!! Sean works for a large mobile carrier that has the original Andriod devices. (G1 and MyTouch) Too bad us Americans couldn't come up with such cute commercials.

ReplyDeleteA few years ago the song I want a Hippopotatmus for Christmas became very popular again after a Telus ad.
I haven't seen this one - but Telus is BC is different than the rest of the country so we get slightly different ads.
That was pretty darn cute. Love when the ear wiggle.
