It Only Hurts When I Walk...

The other day we moved offices, and I lifted something(s) that I probably should not have lifted... I guess I should not have carried that printer over to the other side of the office, and now I'm paying the price. But, it only hurts when I walk ... or talk ... or sit ... or breathe.  Thank goodness for extra-strength Tylenol and heating pads.  But I am not able to sit at my computer for any length of time.  I have had so many wonderful new visitors to my blog, and I would love to pay you a visit ... and to my regular friends too ... as soon as I am able to sit ... or walk ... or talk ... or breathe.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone.  Go out and have some fun.  And remember, if you really must do the chores, they will still be waiting for you when you get home.

  1. Ouch! I have done that more times than I care to remember -- twice while moving my stuff from one office to another. The muscle will get better when it decides to forgive you.

  6. Remember that time we went for lunch 2 blocks away and you ended up having to limp home? Yesterday, I bent over to pick up some loose sticks and pull a few weeds from the front garden and this morning I couldn't understand why the back of my thighs hurt...

  7. I'm sorry you're hurting.

You need a good chiropractor and a good massage therapist! :)

Hope you feel better soon. In the meantime, Boswellin Cream is unbelievably good for muscle & joint pain.

  9. Oh, too bad! See if you can find a place to put your computer that's high enough to let you work standing up.

  10. Be careful Jo....nothing hurts worse than a back pain. I just got over a sciatic attack that came from going for a massage from an over- enthusiastic masseuse. Needed a week of painkillers and crutches afterwards.
Just rest now and enjoy the birds outside your window! I bet the pink blossoms are blooming down in the west end.

  11. Oooops, Jo was a *naughty* gal!

I understand completely though. I don't tend to lift stuff, and hurt my back. But I DO know what things can cause it to act-up.. And I do toooo many of those things. -sigh- And have to pay the price. We are silly, aren't we?

But you do just what you need to do and to not do... Let it rest and get all better. Then you can come back to your Dear Readers. :-)

Not a moment sooner! "Auntie" sezzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz! :-)
