Jo, how well I remember that Friday feeling -- being so done with work and commuting and so thrilled to see the weekend arrive at last. One of the downsides of retirement has been that certain days aren't quite as special as they once were. While Sunday nights and Monday mornings are less blue, Friday nights are much more sedate these days. Only a few years ago, my husband and I would meet for dinner on Fridays and just celebrate getting through another week and having some time together.
