What's Going On...?

While the rest of North America is sweltering under 100 degree temperatures, this is our summer. This is it. Every day. I feel as if I have gone into hibernation. As soon as the sun comes out, I'll be back. In the meantime, enjoy your summer, everyone, and please send some of your sunshine our way.

What a bummer. Since we now have electricity following the weekend storm, you have an open invitation to come and enjoy our sunshine. It is hot, but we have the ocean!

It IS awful...I'm getting (or I should say already have) that feeling that comes upon me in mid to late October - I just want to stay in bed and read or sleep and eat! Hibernation mode for sure! GAWD! Will it EVER end???

You are most welcome to come visit me in Minnesota, although this week is a tad bit gooey. Today it's supposed to be in the high 90's which is ok except the humidity is 60+%. I'd be much happier if it was drier so I could garden more than 1/2 hour at a time. At least we got rain last night.

Oh, my goodness, Jo! That looks a bit like the "June Gloom" phenomenon I remember from Southern California. We've got lots of heat and lots of a/c going on down here in Arizona! Come visit!

We do not have any sunshine here either.
But as soon as we get the tiniest glimpse of it, I will send you half of it!
Promise!

But Jo, summer up here doesn't even start until July 5th, and it looks like summer is coming soon. Plus we are through with "Junuary." :-)

Head to New England, for sun and not quite 100 degrees. We have electricity even. I say that, but who knows what next week will bring?

May you be visited by the sun very, very soon. Jo. Take care. I miss your posts, but mostly I bet you just NEED SUMMER NOW.

I hear we'll start getting sunny on July 5. And you know there's nowhere more glorious than the Pacific Northwest in the summer - when it finally arrives.

Can I send some of the heat that goes along with it?

Oh wow....I just saw your next post and realize this is the same picture without all the sunshine. I like the other picture better, this one is depressing!
